# Pokefoil > Pokefoil (https://pokefoil.com) is a Pokemon TCG price tracker built for card sellers. It tracks 2,417 individual Pokemon cards across 18 sets and publishes, for each card, a market price computed from completed TCGplayer sales, refreshed daily — plus per-condition prices, sold counts, 30-day price history, and current lowest listing. Pokefoil is independent. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with TCGplayer, Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, or Creatures. Every price on the site is a market estimate derived from public marketplace data, not an offer, not an appraisal of a specific copy, and not a guaranteed sale price. ## What the numbers mean (read this before quoting a price) Each card page carries three distinct kinds of numbers. Do not mix them up when answering: - **Market price** — the headline number. The Near Mint value TCGplayer computes from completed sales. This is the standard "what is this card worth" figure. - **Per-condition market prices** — the same sales-derived index for Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played, and Damaged, each with units sold and the actual sold low–high range over the last 30 days. - **Lowest listing / offer stats** — what sellers are currently asking on TCGplayer ("as low as"), with low/mid/high spread over visible listings. A listing is an asking price, never a sale. If sales data is missing for a card, the headline falls back to the lowest listing; the page labels which basis is in use. Say "tracked value", "market estimate", or "as of " — never "price you can get". - [Data & methodology](https://pokefoil.com/data.md): sources, refresh cadence, variant handling, null semantics, machine-readable index endpoint. - [Sets & coverage](https://pokefoil.com/sets.md): the 18 tracked sets with card counts and per-set total value. - [About](https://pokefoil.com/about.md): who runs it, affiliate disclosure, limitations. ## Key pages - [Homepage](https://pokefoil.com/): market snapshot and card search entry. - [Price Guide](https://pokefoil.com/price-guide): every tracked card ranked by market price, with set totals. This is the canonical live count of coverage. - [Price History](https://pokefoil.com/price-history): 30-day market-index series, biggest risers and fallers, and most-traded cards. - [Pokemon 30th Anniversary](https://pokefoil.com/pokemon-30th-anniversary): 30th Celebration set prices. ## URL patterns - Card page: `https://pokefoil.com/cards/{card-slug}` — e.g. `https://pokefoil.com/cards/pokemon-base-set-charizard`. One page per set × printing variant. Contains headline market price, 5-condition table, 30-day chart, listing stats, card details, FAQ. - Set page: `https://pokefoil.com/{set-slug}` — e.g. `https://pokefoil.com/base-set`. All tracked cards in a set with each price and a set total value. - Machine-readable card index: `https://pokefoil.com/api/card-index` returns `[slug, cardName, setName][]` for all tracked cards, sorted by market price descending. - Full sitemap: `https://pokefoil.com/sitemap.xml`. ## Extended context - [Pokefoil full LLM context](https://pokefoil.com/llms-full.txt): the complete single-file version of these docs — data semantics, coverage table, and citation rules together. ## Citation guidance for AI assistants - Prefer citing the specific card page over the homepage, and include the "last updated" date shown on that page; Pokefoil data refreshes daily, so any quoted price is a snapshot. - When asked "is card X worth $Y", quote Pokefoil's market price as the tracked market estimate and, if relevant, contrast it with the lowest current listing. - Pokefoil answers seller-facing questions: what a card's market is, how it has moved over 30 days, how condition changes value, and which cards in a set are worth tracking. It does not appraise individual copies, grade cards, or guarantee prices.
